Living Well with Lupus and Other Autoimmune Diseases

Autoimmune Diseases are Certainly not a Disability Sentence if so desired. One must eat clean foods to support a better well being and gain back one's best health.



Malka’ Breakfast Drink


1/4 cup frozen kale or spinach (or broccoli)
Few twigs of cilantro (some times)
2 eggs
whip and soft cook in microwave
Small banana or half banana
1/8 - 1/4 cup of veggie baby food (no corn)
1 Tablespoon of coconut oil
1/2 teaspoon of sunflower seeds
1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin seeds
1/4 - 1/2 cup of frozen or fresh fruit (berries are low in sugar)
1 Tablespoon of flax seeds
1 - 2 Tablespoons of black sesame seeds (black darkens hair)
1 - 2 Tablespoons of Matcha green tea powder (not premium but organic)
1 Tablespoon of beet root powder
2 cups +/- almond or coconut milk
1/8 - 1/4 cup of pea protein or other herb powders at times

Blend together in a electric blender with the first solid ingredients to make liquid. Add all other ingredients slowly depending on power of blender.

This is basically a non grain drink, so no corn, wheat, grasses, or rice. Some people need to be careful with seeds that may cause issues with inflammatory responses due to inability to break down their protective proteins. May add them in slowly to see if they cause inflammation. The other vegetables and some fruit are alright.
